Waterbox 130.4

Gotcha, good to know. I picked them up at Seaside in HB. They had about 30 of these guys in their own 70g tank.

How are the Maxspect xf230s on the 12mm glass?
How are they placed? Back Wall?
Vertical or horizontal?
Any other flow Powerhead?
How are you hiding cords for them?
I currently have ecotechs that are old but looking to add Maxspect.
Thanks.

hey guys I know this is way off topic but has anyone else out there been using the Red Sea reef energy coral nutrition?? My guy I go to has been raging saying this is the new best stuff on the market! Any thoughts??
Thank y'all!!

No issues with the magnets on the 12mm glass. I have them mounted at the end of each side horizontally. No other flow besides the return nozzles. I plan to run the cord vertical out of the tank similar to the ecotech. I can share with you my gyre settings if you decide to get a pair.

I've been using it now for 3 weeks at 2ml each every other day. So far I have not seen positive or negative effects. Will keep dosing for at least 2 months before I decide whether or not to keep dosing.

I've been dosing 6ml once every couple of days for about 2 weeks, also have had about the same results as what you are describing. keep me posted on your results! I'm eager to know if this stuff actually works.

Hi jsbzmcdaniel,

Congrats on your 130 purchase. You're going to love it! It's a nice tank. I'm using 800ml VOSS glass water bottles as dosing containers. :) Really inexpensive and they work well. You can get the bulkhead and acrylic tubes from BRS. If you plan to dose NoPox, stay away from the acrylic tube, however. Let me know if you have any other questions. I need to update this build thread. A few things have changed since my last update.

The tank has been up for 2 months now. Things are starting to settle in.

I changed my lights from Radion XR15 G4 Pro to XR30 G4 Pro. Quite a difference in PAR and aesthetics. Also received my custom lid from Safe Top Lids. Fits like a glove.

Also have 2 tangs in QT. If all goes well, they'll be ready for their new home by Dec 5. 2 rounds of PraziPro done and now treating Copper Safe.

Great looking tank. I need to get over to Seaside it's been a while. They always have nice fish.

Thank ypu, BeanMachine. Seaside is great. A bit of a drive for me but the fish selection is awesome.

My Waterbox 130.4 turns 4 months old this week. Very happy with the tank, things are starting to thrive.

Whete did you get the anthias? Seaside ? I am worried about anthias require a lot of feeding frequently. I don't have a tank sitter so taking a 2 week vacation is tough ...:-)

Yep, all my fish came from Seaside. I feed 2 cubes of mysis a day and they seem to be okay. Weekends they get feed twice a day since I’m home.
