How many watts per gallon is required for the diff. classes of inverts?

soft coral 3-5 wpg for most sps 6-9 wpg for most

You also have to worry about what type of light you have. I wouldn't try to keep sps unless you have metal halide lighting. If you have a lot of pc it might keep sps alive but probably would have any growth. Lighting can be a complicated issue.

I'm considering either Orbit lighting 4x96w or 6x96w PC lighting or if i save another month.. LOL Possibly the Outer orbit HQI system for a 125 gal 6 ft tank.

Save your money for what you really want. I upgraded so many times I pretty much threw money away. If you just get what you want the first time you will save in the long run.
