wavebox

Dear Mr. Roger,

Just dialed in my new wavebox and wondering if this is correct. As I turned counterclockwise, the wave gets larger. Also, should I consider Tunze 6000 in addition to the wavebox since it shuts down at night or is that overkill?

Your goal is one wave, crest on one side, trough on the other, you must keep tuning it until you get such a wave.

Shutting down the wavebox at night is optional. What type of corals do you have and how long is the tank?

Hi,

No, that is not my problem. I think I have the wave like effect since it is similar to the one on youtube. It is basically like a rocking motion. My issue is the dial. I thought that if you turn the dial clockwise the wave increases, but in my case I turn it counterclockwise and the wave increases. My tank is 170gal and about 5-6ft long. I am trying to keep sp. Thank you, Thieu

The dial on the controller is used to achieve a wave, you tune it until you hit the resonance frequency of the aquarium and produce a wave. It is a timer and has nothing to do with wave amplitude adjustment. The amplitude is adjusted on the driver. The correct frequency is adjusted on the controller and the frequency that produces the biggest wave is correct for your tank.
