Wavebox6212 day and night change

I was trying out my new Wavebox 6212 today and the day to night mode isn't working. With the photo-cell plugged in the pump keeps pulsing, I even covered the photo-cell with a towell and the tank and room lights are off. Is it a controller problem or did I miss something in the manual?

Make sure it is plugged in all the way. When the photocell is in darkness the wavebox shuts off.

It's plugged in as far as it will go, I guess I need to send this to you for repair, whats the address in Tx?

Well, hold on, let's double check somethings, likely we can get this worked out without sending anything in. Do you know anybody else with a wavebox or a stream pump with a single controller and photocell who you can borrow a photocell from?

I looked at it again, the outer sleeve of the photocell plug is too long or the socket is recessed too far in the controller to make the connection, I'll trim it down.

I will send a new photocell, I know this problem, they made some photocells using the plug we use for the switched sockets that are for the CO2 and MV controllers. The plug is identical but the depth of the socket is different. Just PM me your address.
