Whatever the cause... she's definitely repairable.

I ask because it's rare for them to split a seam but maybe somethings cockeye, floor unlevel, something chewing on the silicone, scraped it away while cleaning, or whatever.

yes. Perfecto has always been very good to work with AND their aquariums are manufactured in the USA.

Gary, what is the glass thickness on both your current tank and the replacement (if they're different). You're going sans overflows as well, no?

glass is 1/2 " thickness on these tanks. I don't know yet if I'll be drilling overflows.
