I differentiate between honest requests for help and those that just want to vent. In just about every other country tanks do not have trim, we are the exception and not the rule. This has a lot to do with the size of our country and the nature of the aquarium industry here. In Europe there are dozens if not hundreds of tank manufacturers and they don't have to ship very far, no trim is needed. In Latin America and Asia most tanks are built locally by a glass worker. If you ship a tank thousands of miles without plastic trim to guard the edges, odds are slim that it won't arrive broken and that is why we have trim. As far as the price, you are paying a hefty premium because the dollar is so weak now and there is nothing I can do about that, a couple years ago these things were $100 less. We constantly work to improve things and we have made steady progress towards incorporating magnet holders with more and more of our products. Your first post read like a rant and I ignored it, sorry but I have better things to do than engage rants. I note them, I mention them in meetings with the factory and we try to improve but I didn't see any benefit in offering you more "POS" suction cups. I have never had a problem with the suction cups, they work as well as most, basically in 6 months they are worthless and you throw them away and buy new ones, it is just the nature of the beast. If I had read they were torn or defective and not just that you didn't like them I would have done something. Sorry, but my time is worth something and I help where I can and move on where I don't see how I can be of any help. I can't make it cheaper, I can't wave a wand and make them include magnet holders and despite the conspiracy theorists the truth is that the magnet holders have always been the lowest mark up item we offer for just the reason of helping people who require them. The main reason they are not included is it would lead to substantial production delays and if you lived in most other countries with a trimless glass tank, they would not be necessary and you would probably gripe about the extra $50 it cost to have a pair of magnet holder instead of a basic clamp. The current magnet holder design does not easily lend itself to mass production and that is a major obstacle to including them. Sorry, one of the things you learn in this field is you can't please everybody.
