Kind of popped into this forum since well seems that local people's to me hang out here. Lol. Posted in a few other random threads here and there.

My name is Chris. Been into this reef thing off and on for the last few years. Started in small with a 2.5g pico reef and moved up to a 12g aquapod. Now currently I have a 29g tank lit with a DIY led kit. Oly just finished the led lights a few months back after having bought all the stuff when led really started appearing on the scene. Have not been the best at taking care of the tank but now that I have a little guy running around that loves to be involved and help its gotten me a bit more motivated. Lol. Kids will do that to ya sometimes.

The 29 is very simple with a aquaclear 70 hang on back with an intank media basket. Skimmer less with a pair of Koralia power heads on opposite sides of the tank. Mixed livestock with a bunch of zoas, some Acans, few ricordeas and a few SPS pieces. Most is newer livestock thqt was added after getting the tank back running in pretty tip top shape since like I said earlier wasn't keeping up with it. It has been up and running for about 3 years in total.

I am very happy with what it's become and what it will become soon since I went shopping at petco this week and picked up a 40 breeder and a 20L with there $1 a gallon sale. Going to start putting a stand together this weekend and next week get the tank drilled and start putting a list together for my first real sump system. Can't wait.

Ok so now for the required tank shots of the current tank.

Mount zoa as I like to call it. There are still a few missing from this shot as that rock stack is a bit higher.

Couple of acros. The lower one was brown brown brown a couple weeks ago when I bought it and it is now starting to turn purple. Other one is a recent purchase last weekend that was also a bit brown so hopefully it colors up nice
