The color of these pictures are spectacular but it was taking with my cell phone. feedback welcome

Do the Sfork pot trick.

Put a plant pot in the tank, wait for them to host it. Then put a BTA in there. Instant hosting :) hide pot with rocks.

I wish mine would host too. I tried putting a container and trapped it with the nem for several days but the clown wouldnt have anything to do with the nem.. Now I got a couple of pictures up against the glass in hopes it will get the idea.

is the picture trick just taping a picture of a clown in a nem to the glass for the clown to observe? If so, how long does it take or how long should I leave the picture up?

yea thats what i did... i put it for about a week... i put mine on the side of the tank where no one else can see it and its still up there:beer:

what other techniques r there? I think I've had the picture up for about 4 days now and still no luck..

hey guys, success story here with the picture trick. I have had an oscellaris for a few weeks now and then last thursday put a BTA in there. The clown ignored it. Then saturday i put a pic on the glass and within two hours success! i was quite amazed!

i think its all hit /miss. I think it can work but IMO depends on if they are tank bred or w.c clowns, thats a huge difference in my opinion. tank bred clowns seem to take forever to try to find a nem, pic or not. I tried the pic for weeks with no luck, i also have a bta and a crispa and my clowns could care less. They were hosting two peices of purple cap i moved the cap and put the bta there, they still dont care.

but i havent lost hope! i just think they are very young clowns

Mine are tank bred clowns. I guess i just got lucky. I have heard of people keeping their clowns and anemones together in a small container until they took it but I would be worried about the anemone eating the clown if it was scarred into it. I have had luck with the picture but i have had my clowns in with a BTA for about 3-4 months and they finally just took to it.

Picture worked like a charm. I want to give you credit because I used your pictures. My clown began hosting within an hour. The only thing that sucks is that he began hosting the gsp instead of the anemone.
