good luck with the efflo they are not for everyone hopefully you have success with it. I am not positive but I think the bigger they get the more flow they want and I believe they are one of the more sensitve acro's so be careful.

btw, I cannot make it on the 2nd, I will be out of town until the meeting is nearly over, but the clove polyps are always available. Check in my gallery to see them, although the photo doesn't do their pink justice.

Amino Acids? can someone elaborate a little more? I know what they are but is there an amino acid additive made just for reefs, i also thought selcon was amino acid additive fill me in please.

selco/selcon has alot of stuff in it. alot I cannot pronounce. there are also a wide variety of amino acids some found in the ocean and some that aren't. there are a mass number of different amino products. zeovit, polyplab,salifert,korallin,prodibio just to name a few. I think there are natural amino's produced in the tank but some feel not enough. this supplements them. but beware they are both good and bad depending on each individual tank it seems. no clue how to tell what tank is bad except loss of coral life.
dmbedard john is a good person to listen too I have watched his do great and then die or just do great and some sit there and never do a thing only to be moved and turn around. that is why I won't buy one for the extra money they are. $20 and I would try one but I do alot of experimenting and it just wouldn't be worth it for me. all I can say is good luck. direct hard current from a powerhead may rip the tissue off so watch out there also.

oh when it grows up let us know what species it really is. that size is very difficult to ID. could also be a soli. soli used to be the most used name now it seems people are using efflo alot I guess they think it sounds cool.
