West side Spa Flex

Cove Beach

Hey guys, anybody have any 1" Spa Flex they could sell off? I need about 4 ft of it to re- plumb my frag tank. If someone out here in Lorain county has some let me know. Thanks Mark

Yeah i gotta get some fittings from there anyway. Hey Jeff if you make it over this weekend you will be the first to see the pretty new frag tank i built! I went all out and made it out of cell cast! I may put a wave box in it this time and get rid of the Tunze 6045 i have now.

Wow, sounds pretty cool. I am working out the details with Jeff T. Its lookin' like either this Fri or next. As soon as I know, I will be in touch. Looking forward to checkin your setup out.

Jen, you need no invitation, you are always welcome to visit!! Oh yeah you can bring Scott along to if he is around!! lol

Marc, I talked to Jeff and am planning on heading over to the "dark side of the moon" aka westside, tonight. I'll give you a ring but was planning to stop by your place after work.

The local HD here definitely sells Spa flex. Let me know if you don't have any luck near you and I can pick you up whatever you need.

Spa Flex Question: Getting ready to plumb a friend's tank. I have never used it. Do you glue it just like PVC? We have a few gentle curves to get through.

Glue or hose clamps?

Like Sean said, it glues just like PVC. However, because it has plasticizers to make it bendable, it can take a few minutes longer to cure. Make sure you hold the joint until it sets to prevent it from pushing out. Although normal glue works, I second the recommendation on the "Rain or Shine" glue.

Mark, thanks for you the tank tour. You have a very nice set up!
