Wet thumbs GB

dang leif that one acan between the favia and chalice is awesome. That favia looks nothing like their site. thats the one I have from reefkoi that looks spot on like their image.
 
Yeah the prizm favia? I am hoping that thing comes around, you know that is one of my favorite corals in your tank, so I hope it recovers.
 
Hey Guys,

Just got off the phone with wet thumbs. As you can imagine, it is difficult to ship corals to Colorado when the temp is in the negative. Take pictures and email them to wet thumbs and notify me if you can or email/pm me of any issues and wet thumbs will make sure that everyone is happy. Enjoy your corals.

As soon as the hermits stop harassing the zoas I'll take some pics. As far as I can tell, the colors look pretty true to the website.
 
My psychedelic is not as pictured either. I acan will hopefully color up as right now it is just red. My camera is no good the pictures don't turn out. I'm on good terms with Santa so maybe he will hook me up with a new one. ;)

I just talked to Tina, and she is being very cool about all of this. She said to tell everyone, just keep an eye on things take pics and make a list of anything that doesn't make it and she will take care of everything!!

Can't ask for more than that.
 
My frags are all in the tank now. They all pretty much look as expected considering they just were shipped in a box. The chalice I got was a little smaller than I was expecting but that prob has more to do with me and my expectations, lol. My Mayan Sun Favia is definitely showing some skeleton on it. There's prob 3-4 spots which is kinda unfortunate. I'm hoping it'll heal up but I guess you never know. I'm anxious to see what happens either way. Oh and I emailed a pic of it as well. Hope everything turned out well for the rest of you guys.
 
Ya i also talked w/ a rep from wetthumb and they said they will make it wright! I lost a blue rim orange/pink monti! My physo also doesnt look like the one on the site:(
 
my psychadelic coral looks a bit more colorful than spleifys but nothing compaired to the one on the site if i could redo my order i think i would of got the americania acan that is one nice coral i will get some pics up soon

Anyone else notice the "red" in the background? Yeah, that's why I didn't bother with that coral. I kept wondering why everyone was so enamored with it when I had a feeling it wouldn't actually look like that. But to be honest, I ALWAYS think corals look better in pics than they do in reality. I went with some pretty "safe" pics with the exception of the Mayan Sun. At the same time though I think people need to give the corals some time to develop. This is why I'm usually a fan of WYSIWYG types of deals. Once I transfer these to my new tank of all T5's I'm sure everything will "pop"!
 
I would be interested to see someone take a picture of there frag with just actinics. Even then it does look photoshopped but just actinics do some amazing things. The coral I did get seems to look better than the picture so far though. Its hit and miss with this internet stuff.

Here's a pic. I took with 20k radiums and the other with just actinics.
