So the last three nights when all my lights go out, my moonlights stay on ive been watchng my clowns go to the top of the water away from everyone, my little guy starts vigirously wagging his tale and the female puts her face rght in it, then they swim in tight circles, then they change positions, then the female bites the male a few tmes on the side then they immediatly start wiggling very fast with their tales again, then they appeaer to go sideways ontop of each other etc.. ive watched this the past 3 nights for 30 minutes a piece before i get bored..

During the day, they act normal and never go near the top of the tank.

What are they doing?

BTW they are a pair of half black photon's, their size is very clear who is female and who is male..

Is it somethign they only tend or will do at night when the lights go out? durng the day none of this happens..

Its really crazy to watch!! it seems like they are in pattern repeating the same wierd motions and movements.

They are telling you to read the FAQ at the top of the forum :)

They are just doing mating / dominance dances and it is 100% normal behavior.

HAHA i deserved that, although i did search on here and online, but i didnt think this was any sort of mating dance since they are soo young.
