Thanks is right!! Those pics are amazing, with good bits of info too!
I notice that the babies are all brownish, and the adults are the amazing variety of colors... how do different strains of algae end up with the anemones (and produce those colors)??

HI there, I have a 20g Reef Tank with a 29g Ecosystem sump, well I think I decided to go for ligthing with the hellolights 4x55watt PC retrofit about 5 inches form water surface, with 2 10,000k and 2 Actinic 03...

Could I be able to keep a carpet with this light?

I plan on upgrade later in the future to a 60 cube and just transfer the PC retro and add an extra 150 HQI pendant and run all 4 PC with actinics 03 only...

THX in advance...

Deeply-folded oral disc (more pronounced with size), covered with short (average 10 mm), slightly tapering tentacles that typically all vibrate constantly

I'll let you check out the guide and form your own opinion. The Gigantae's Ive seen generally have the small tapering tentacles similar to the one in the pic posted by Bare Bottom in the other [Purple Monster thread]. They also twitch together which is amazing to watch.

The dots on the column are referred to here
Non-adhesive verrucae on upper column blue to maroon, contrasting with yellowish, pinkish, tan, greenish-blue, or gray-green colum

Hope that helps..........

Yes another photo for the thread

Cheers.

Here's my blue carpet that I've had for a few months now. A pair of saddlebacks now call it home

Those are some beautiful anemones that were posted. The wife and I picked up a green S. Haddoni today. I hope to post a pic of it sometime soon. I have wanted this critter for a couple of years and just now felt that I was ready to keep it. Wish me luck!!! I have a pair of tank raised "false Percs" now and I am hoping they will accept it as a host. I eventually want to replace my percs with a couple of skunks.:D

my little  green monster. been with me for a bit over 3 yrs. I swear it grows 3" a day. I come home and do a head count of fish just to be sure. :D

Finally got my Blue Carpet after 2 years of looking! Made a trip to the city for a computer and came home with a carpet. :D

My blue, that had a powder/brighter color as posted above, has slowly darkened, and now has a geen to keep it company.
