What could be wrong with these zo's?

Here is the colony, 24 hours, after the first dip of the second round of treatments.

It does have many more polyps open now.

Here they are after the 3rd dip of the second treatment.
It is the 6th dip overall.
As you can see, most of the polyps are open, however, some of them on the left side are still closed.

Because I have had positive results I will proceed with a 3rd round of dips in 5 days.

worst case if it doesn't heal. I chop off the sick ones.. Loose a couple polyps to save the rest of the colony.

make sure you wear SAFETY equipment. ( goggles, gloves ) , for protection against the zoanthid slime/saltwater and the goodies that are in the furan2.

Nice I'm going to try vit c first to see how they do and if it doesn't do anything I will get furan 2

I heard your not suppose to touch furan 2 b/c it can cause cancer???

wear gloves, goggles etc. it does have carcinogens and other chemicals I believe.

I rather cure the polyps in a separate bucket, than cure the tank. I learned the hard way.

treating pox with vitamin C is wasting your time and just letting them get worse off

the unknown specific benefits of vitamin C dosing to your polyps is subjective at best

We KNOW furan works for pox, so do yoruslef a favor and use it as your first step ;)
