What could be wrong with these zo's?

Here they are in the dip.
I used one cup of tank water per packet of Furan 2.
I left them in there for 20 minutes slowly swishing them while I watched TV. ;)

Here they are after being rinsed off in tank water and place back in.

The pic sucks but let me say, they are NOT happy campers.

Keep doing the dips. I have also heard that a good iodine treatment will also help with their immunity. Its a disinfectant pretty much so it may also help with the pox. I have only heard of FURAN 2 getting rid of bad pox. But i also think that iodine will help.

Here the colony is 16 hours after the first dip.
Several polyps have reopened.
About to do another dip.

Tagging along, I did this in the past with ro water and my stuff went down hill. Are you using new saltwater or just tank water?????

Do the pox seem to be going away?

I am usine tank water.
The article said to use new water, but I figured if the Furan 2 is going to kill the infection on the zo's, surely it would kill any lingering in the tanks water as well.

The colony seems to have more indiivdual heads opening up.
That is a good sign.

when I did it using furan I also used water from my tank to both treat and rinse....good excuse to do a little water change. It ended up saving my zoas

is furan 2 under a different name. Is it the same as Interceptor?

Looking to purchase some in Ontario
Not to my knowledge. Furan2 is Furan2.

How would you treat zoos that are encrusted to a rock?
Dip the whole rock.

How are they looking now?
I did the 3 dips and am about to start the second course of dips.
After the 3 dips and a little rest, some of the polyps have opened, about 30%.
I don't know what to make of it yet.

Interceptor and Furan2 are different medications.

Interceptor which is for Dogs is used by us hobbiest for taking out redbugs (CURE), but will also takeout most inverts in a tank.

Furan2 is being used as a general cure for Pox and fungus. Used to cure/kill Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria ?

I just dip my first dip of the second round.
I will give it a few hours and then post pics of the colony.
