What do you think?

I've recently added some acros to my 55. They are smaller pieces that I got to hopefully growout. Anyway, they are in my 55gal standard. I'm running a single penguin 350 hob filter and doing 10-15% weekly WC. My nitrates stay between 2-8 and all other params are in check. As for lighting I'm running a 4 bulb Current USA nova 48" putting out 216w. My bulbs consist of 2 UVI 454's a UVI 10,000k, and a UVI 75.25. for flow I'm using a maxijet 1200 and an old aquaclear 30. It's probably not enough, but I plan on getting a koralia just don't know what size?

The SPS I have so far include: pearlberry, unnamed tricolor, lemonade poccillopora, deep purple acro, tyree ponape birdnest, frog in a blender birdnest, and some random deepwater that is turning from brown to a nice teal blue/green mix.

I also have a big mix of LPS, chalices, and softies. Is my setup going to let me keep these SPS alive and thriving or should I make some changes? Any advice is more than welcome and greatly appreciated.

Personaly I think you need to think about adding a few things. Like a sump, A nice skimmer, some reactors for carbon and gfo, deff some better pumps for flow. But hay yea got to start somewere and your tank sounds alot like my first tank.

I'm already looking into some koralias just can't figure out which model will be overkill or under achieve my tanks needs??

A sump is not possible on this tank with it's location and it's also not drillable.so anything I run has to be Hang on. I was considering attaching this tank to my 180 and running as a connected system but that includes the risk of losing everything if something should go wrong.

Are they're any decent hang on skimmers that won't make me want to throw it out a window?

I am running carbon in my hang on penguin 350 so that's already covered.

There are some nice hang on skimmers out there, I've never used any but have heard good things about the octopus one and the Aqua C hang on. If using Koralias I would make sure you get the newer evos and use a wavemaker of some sort, like the one from red sea. For a 55 I would go with at leats a couple of the Koralia 1050s at a minimum, but if you can afford it step up to the 1400.
