what fish can live together

Puffer21 dont fell bad. The people on RC just want you to make an informed descision. if you really love the reef aquarium hobby you will realize that if you get the fish you have selected they will probaly all die within a matter of days. your best bet for that tank is to get some live rock a couple of clowns a goby of some sort a clean-up crew and maby a sand sifting starfish i would stray away from the linkias for right now, no seahorses. believe me that will turn out to be a great tank. if you need any help with your tank from what to buy to where to get it just PM me, i would love to help you out.

as for the rest of you i agree that posting the same question nearly 10 times is wrong but i believe that if you read the mission statement of RC you wont find anything about be-littling poeple because of their stupid actions now lets all just go back to the old kindergarden rule: if cant say anything nice(or in this case helpfull) dont say anything atall. sorry if i ruffled a few feathers.

PS; i am also 14, guess there are more teenagers on this board than we thought

At least the youngen isn't affraid to speak his mind and ask for help. If I was his age I'd just get the stuff I wanted and forget about compatability.

Hi Puffer,
I think a pair of captive bred clowns would make a great tank. They look great, are hardy, and will do well in a 25g. They don't need an anemone, keeping them with live rock and live sand is fine. If you want to try some corals softies would be a good choice. IMO anemones should be left in the ocean.

Seahorses do not make a good beginners fish. Even if you buy captive bred they have special needs and are not easy to keep.

Clownfish are beautiful and you have an excellent chance of having a sucessful aquarium with them.

Hats off to you for doing research first! :)

cut the guy some slack... hes new to the hobby and has some questions he wants answered. I dont see a problem with posting twice. Ive done it and im sure there are other people out there who have too. He is trying to research what he wants, and RC should appreciate that instead of seeing a thread saying "I just put all these fish and inverts together and now everything is dead"
