what fish can live together

hmmm... yeah there are, just hit the search icon on her posts and it will pull them all up some are as 'puffer21' and the others are as 'samantha'

What is a 'spoof' post? Sorry...Im not up to date with the computer lingo=).

If 'Puffer21' is serious and not just trying to get a rise out of everyone (that means 'getting everybody angry' Puffer21..) then she is exactly the type of person that makes me wish the government would step in a declare salt water an exotic and have some regulations, like proving you have an adequate habitat.... (Im only half-way just kidding)!

Puffer21- the fish you want to add together will kill each other or die b/c you can not meet all of their requirements at the same time. When they say seahorses are not for beginners they are not kidding. They need ridiculously low flow (the rest of your fish will be unhappy under that little flow) and feeding them is not for the timid. If you get one that is actually eating frozen you have to put the mysis in a bowl b/c they cant 'chase' their own food like most fish. Most likely it will not eat anything but live food and do you at age 14 have the resources and the car to supply live food on a regular basis?

When they say that anemones need high light they are talking about 'very expensive' lighting systems, and perfect water conditions...which new tanks do not have.

Avoid damsels...they are fun but are extremely destructive.

Puffers get too large.

With the proper lighting you could have a pair of clowns and an anemone. Then throw in some other small fish. You could do a starfish..depending on what type and call it a day.

Adding a Puffer and a seahorse to a tank like this would be animal cruelty..but if you are that type of person then their will be no stopping you. Just do us a favor and dont upgrade to any other type of animal...you can actually get into trouble for treating mammals like you treat fish.

I don't think any adult could feign this amount of stupidity.

Chlorine Bleach...Wipe out the gene pool, and lower welfare rates. Sounds like a win win situation. (Like MakoJ only half kidding"

If you haven't caught the hint, nobody appreciates your attitude. You take people's advice, like Mako's and blatantly ignore it.

As I have said for the 3rd time, a few easy fish and some easy corals. That's all, otherwise you will fail, buy more fish and fail again. If only you understood what that was like, but in a child's sheltered world they don't understand.

I'll be turning 13 soon.... I agree with everyone, go with a clown tank, or a seahorse tank. Puffers require large tanks, 70 Gallons Plus. But if you want a puffer really badly, then get a 70 gallon tank. Puffers are fish with a great personality and can even be hand fed (Watch those teeth). If a puffer is all you want, then it will be worth buying a good sized tank for it. :)

okay, *Holds breath* im exactaly the same age as dragonet dude. almost 13. just because we are young doesnt mean we dont know alot about fish!

Being young hasn't anything to do with it. The ability to pay attention to the responses to questions you ask does...

And the respect you receive is a function of your ability/knowledge. Age has nothing to do with it...........

Elmyra?
Just get the puffer.
Don't let other people tell you what to do.
Think for yourself.

yea i must agree..i am young...14, and i have pets all my life... from dogs to fish to birdsto turtles...u name it and i have proabaly had it... thats beside the point... the point that every one is trying to make is that you cant keep all of those fish together because, they dont all get along, and they all have their own special requirements... for example....

clowns- great connunity fish
puffer-aggressive. does better in a FO tank because it will eat inverts
seahorse-does better in a species specific tank because of the fact that it is slow and will be harassed easily by other fish
damsels-very aggressive, and hardy, but are not good in community....

get the point, also yes, u may buy a fish that is one inch today, but what about in a month? they will need more space...

did you ever have an egana

did you ever have an igana

I've actually had both an egana and an igana. They were served with a tangy/spicy southwest mango chipotle sauce. Very Bobby Flay, I found them quite tasty.
