What happened to my nem?

I've had this nem for about 7 weeks now with no problems.
About a week ago it began to recede and the resident clown seemed to be irritating it. The two were separated for a week and the nem has recovered since, or it seems so.
Does anybody have any idea what is wrong with these tentacles?
It is only on this small section of the nem.
Water params are normal and i do 20-25% water change every week.
There haven't been any new additions to the tank.

Thise tentacles appear damaged - either a coral sting or manually ripped. The manual ripping can occur either as a result of a nearby powerhead, or as a result of the clownfish biting the tips of the tentacles off (yes, it happens, and it's pretty normal).

What action you take depends upon the cause. If it's your clowns, it's probably part of the "bonding" the clowns go through with their hosting anemone, and won't damage the anemone in the long run. If it's either mechanical damage from a powerhead or damage from a nearby coral, something may need to be moved...

My clowns wear the anemones out. They push their tentacles into the rocks and hurt them. You need a GIANT one or several. I'm not sure the answer here. I asked advice myself.

I've seen mine have tents like that just being up against glass, like somehow rubbing glass iritated it.
I wouldn't even worry about it, it will probably look fine in a few days.

So the definite possibilities then are the clown or rubbing against the glass or rock. It is at the end of the tank near the glass. It does like to pivot back and forth an inch or two every once in a while. There aren't any mechanical devices near it except the return pump outlet from the sump and no anemone shrimp or crabs. I'll keep an eye on it for the next few days for improvement.
Thanks a lot for the help guys.

Yeah, seeing it's position close to glass is very similar to my exp.
Not exactly sure what the deal is, maybe tents stick to glass and flow tugs it off?
Sometimes tents stick to my hand as well, and in pulling it off it looks similar also, so that's my best guess.
