what is a good price for a blue carpet?

That actually depends on the size of the anemone. You wouldn't want to pay $250 for a 3" one would you? I'd say about $20-$25 per inch.

If you can find one that's healthy and has been in captivity for a while they're worth paying extra for. Newly imported they seem to go for 150-300 (mostly closer to $200) depending on the source.

mh i guess i should have ordered one i saw...it was 10" and $129 looked healthy in the pic too.
