What is living in my Rot culture??

I noticed some large (1/8-1") long organisms swimming & living in my Rot culture. They are probably eating the rots as well, but I am wondering what they are.

I netted one & looked at it, it's about an inch long, half is body & half is tail. It appears to have a mouth & 2 eyes. The body is "capsule" like ~1/2 inch long & the tail is 1/2" & "tadpole" like.

Any ideas???

Probably a good idea to dump them & start a new culture????

Could be brine shrimp - I just looked at some images, what I have doe not have any "tentacle" like arms protruding from the body. But they could absolutely be brine shrimp. Maybe my brood stock would like them?

You need to sterilize everything before you restart with a new culture. It does not matter what is in the culture, just dump & start over.
