What is the thing called that on a return line rotates for random flow

hydor flo

bah link didn't work. go to marine depot and search for this Hydor FLO Rotating Water Deflector

sea swirl???

if your'e talking about the little rotating things that just operate on their own, ask Schplitter, he has them

Sea Swirl becomes the outlet for flow, clamps on your rim, and sweeps a nozzle back and forth under power, for about 45 degrees.

If I ever have a tank with more than 55 gallons and have a BA pump Im gonna rock an OM for sure, they look sweet

Shark, go with triple OM 8 ways

I have the 1 inch SS on my closed loop with about 1100 gph flowing through. It's mounted on the back center sweeping 45 deg. to each side of facing center. It seems to work perfectly with a vor-tech on each side. It really mixes things up well.

griss had 2 sea swirls on the tank

are you sure? I have all his piping and there were no sea swirls, unless he changed that well before I saw it

The pump pushes 5800 gph, and although I have it split in two returns, still too much

Not sure how they would look also since they cant sit on the tank edge
