You can use maracyn-2 freshwater, adjust the dosage to double dose of maracyn-2 saltwater. I think it is going to be quadruple dose.

Just get any antibiotics (gram-positive for starters). Maracyn-2 is both gram-neg and gram-positive, which makes it broad spectrum. Gram-neg bacteria is not as common as gram-positive.

i called petsmart yesterday and they said they should be getting some maracyn-2 in today, so hopefully they do and i can start treating her because she's not looking too good. looks like someone took a chunk out of her fin, but she's the only fish in the qt. she's hanging in there though

no where has maracyn-2 in stock! and if i order it online it'll take too long to get here and i'll prob be out of town by then. is there an alternative that's more readily available?
