What Nano fish?

Reasons for wanting fish 1" is to keep the image that the tank is bigger than what it actually is.

I have had a two spot(four wheel drive) goby, and he was great. Peaceful, good sand sifter and cool to watch hover. Yasha goby with pistol shrimp is very interesting to watch, however they are shy. I've had a yellow gumdrop goby, who was fine alone. Had two, and one picked on the other. Firefish are cool too, but seal the back, because i've found him on the filter tray. Emerald Crab, Porcelain Crab, Boxer Crab pretty cool too(off subject). I have a Cherub Pygmy Angel, but he's a little outside your parameters. Have fun.

Geometric Hawkfish are good Nano fish. Not really a Hawkfish believe they are actually Anthias. Might eat a really small shrimp, although mine didn't I seen the pictures posted before with one in it's mouth...

Trimma and eviota gobies. 1". Eviotas do not hide, trimmas stay under ledges but are out part of the time.

The cutie in my avitar is a yellow clown gobie (Gobiodon okinawae). My pair spawned in a birdsnest and but lived only 3 years. I still have a pair gobies that look the same except they are black, still spawning in another birdsnest after 3 years. The pic is from my 180 of a yellow and a black in a branching Montipora.

I had over a dozen tiny Evoita / Trimma gobies in a 20 gal, and they got along fine, but they are short lived. Now, 3 1/2 years later only 4 are still alive.

Pandas are difficult, tried them twice and non lasted a month. I have posted questions here and never got a response from anyone who has had long term success with them.

Priolepis ascensionis are also nice but hide under ledges most of the time. The pair in the picture are going on 4 years old and spawning.

As for Flaming Prawn Goby, they are more beautiful in life than any picture can show, but I saw mine only 4 times in six months and never again.

So far Im thinking 3 Masked Goby... mated pair of Neon Goby.... 2-3 Evoita.. and 2-3 trimma. Think that will max out my bioload for now?

Yep, worth more than the entire tank & stand, but what a glorious fish!
Love Liproma(sp?). A Swissguard is more realistic, I suppose..

Those are red-spot cardinalfish. If you keep an eye out, DD sometimes sells these in groups. I think they would be neat for schooling.
