What salt for SPS dominated??

I traditionally used IO and RC. Now I use Seachem Reef Salt ($35 a bucket through club powerbuy...can't beat that), I think it mixes at lot more 'clean' than RC. I think if you're already supplementing your sps tank and you're doing regular water changes, then the salt mix isn't that critical.

You'll see plenty of very successful large sps tanks that use IO...

I've heard really good things about seachem's salt from others.

Salt?

Salt?

I started with Instant Ocean and changed to Reef Crystals but know I only use Natural Sea Water,,,. Synthetic salts cannot touch it but I was happy with the Reef Crystals as long as you mix it with a powerhead for 24-48 hours and throw a heater in it to match your temperature. Happy Reefing!:fish2:

I used to use Oceanic, but the high calcium and magnesium content made it very difficult to keep alkalinity above 6 - 7 so I switched to Reef Crystals.
