I'm returning to the hobby by setting up a small hex nano tank and wanted to use a vortech as my primary wavemaking device. The tank is acrylic and was never drilled for an overflow so I'm building one now. My only concern is how long do the overflow teeth have to be so that the vortech doesn't cause the water level to surge up/down and thus causing the water to drop below the overflow level? I hope this makes sense...
