What size tubing fits on a Maxijet powerhead?

Hello. I just ordered a couple Maxi-jet powerheads to use for creating mixing new saltwater in my Rubbermaids...I need to buy some tubing to connect to the powerheads to then pump the water into the tank or a second container. Does anyone happen to know what the size/diameter is for the tubing that I need to connect it securely?

I believe its 1/2" but don't have one to confirm

How "high" (head height) do you need to pump water?

Yes I believe it is 1/2". You can actually use the quick connect fittings and rigid poly line with it (what BRS uses for their branded reactors).
