@ Harry -I heard nothing but goodthings about the ati's ..haven't heard any complains from u how do u like them??

@Stan - I use to run a asm g3 those skimmer are beast u won't be dissapointed

@turbo- looks like we have sro's a friend of mine recommend me them and heard and seen nothing but good things..and ur collection cup dossent lie :)

That collection cup looks a bit....... shall I say - infected?

Arlin - Thanks... this is my first setup that actually has a sump, let alone a skimmer... haha. I heard lots of great things about the ASM G-Series in general... I think OzoneParkGuy (Noel) has a ASM G-4+ or XL or something like that.. and he loves it too. It just barely fits in my sump (AGA 29g tall).

Its rated for 200g tank... and its going on a 46g w/ 29g sump.. so say a ~60g system... :fun4:

I really hope my water will be pristine... haha

That collection cup is crazy!!

@ stan - lol they are good Skimmers but they are chunky lol

Richard -which one?

Right now, I'm running a Lifereef 3-36, no pictures handy. I like it, but It seems to be a bit weak for my system that's over 500 gallons, and housing a good number of fish. My plan is to step on up to a GEO, most likely a Beckett style, but that has yet to be finalized. I'm actually surprised to see that nobody else in this thread is using a GEO. His craftsmanship is, IMO, unmatched.

ATI's air tube silencer and debry sponge

Air tube attaches to the bottom of cup

sponge insert (it came with filter cotton but I like this sponge cut from wound VAC sponges)

Cover with air hole (silencer) works great

This skimmer on the left is set for wet skimming and the skimmer on the right for somewhat dry skimming.

Just cleaned the skimmers

Here you can see the difference in bubble color between the skimmers
