What tang is this

Can someone please tell me what sort of tang this is it was bright yellow please it's killing me

This is what it first looked like about a mouth ago hope it is what you say it is it was sold as a yellow tang but then it started to turn brown so I look a lot closer at it and and realised it doesn't look like one at all the blue tipped fins should of really been a giveaway

At first glance it looks like a changeling Atlantic Tang, but the juvis have blue trim at the ends of the yellow dorsal and anal fins, which this doesn't seem to. After that, possibly a type of Mimic.

Unfortunately the pics are so small so it's really hard to tell, but the mouth in the first pic looks like a Ctenochaetus species to me.

I agree with Peter on this one, shape is wrong for Caribbean blue. Some bristletooth species are bright yellow as juvies, update this as he grows.

I think it is a blue caribbean tang. I think they sport a longer snout when they are younger. Mine is just starting its change to adult color. I don't really have any good pics cuz I think he is kind of ugly right now so all the pics I have of him I was shooting toward something else. lol.

But here is mine. If he had his fins flared and wasn't in a turning position, he would look the same shape as yours. with a tiny less long snout.

The second picture shows it the best, but the general shape, fin length, tail, snout is all wrong - even for a very small juvie Caribbean blue, which has a much rounder overall look. Definitely not a mimic.
