What Tank Would You Choose

6' x 3' x 29" Peninsula or 8' x 2' x 29' long, which one would you choose for a reef tank? Already have the peninsula but not sure if I should go with a longer tank.

What they said.

My progression in reef tanks went from 18" wide to 24" to 32" to now a 60"x48"x24" And this is my favorite by far. Wider is always better (at least in reef tanks :)).

^ 60x48x24 sounds terrific, I'm going that direction one day too. I had a 96x18x28 for 10 years and I hated that tank by the end, no depth!!! The fish didn't mind they enjoyed the long swim but that's about it. So go wide!

Consensus is in.
Fat bottom tanks you make the rockin world go round!!!

Well I already have the fat bottom tank so that's the consensus I like to hear. I like to build a reef in the middle of the tank since the tank is a peninsula. But not for a while. I just got started with a 75g to learn the basics.
