This thread should be nominated thread of the month for its complete unanimity. :)
I want to officially go on the record and recant my vote for RODI and change it to Large Cleanup Crew and More Chaeto for Fuge :D

I bought mine from the filter guys to, great to deal with. The unit made water slow at the start but now I am having to watch it close, fills up quick.

How quick is quick?

Fast enough to over fill my 5 gallon water bottles and and get all over my wifes washroom floor,5 times, lol. I started putting the bottles in my brute can that I do my water changes in, that way even if I forget about it theres no mess to clean up. Its that last 25% that gets you.

I never timed it but I would say 2 hours. It was longer when I first got it. How big of a tank do you have and how often do you do water changes and how much water do you change when you do changes? That might be your problem with the alge problem. You probley didn't make the same mistake I did when I ordered my RO unit since you called and ordered yours and they sold you everything you needed. did you order the fittings to hook the unit up to your water source?

It takes me 5 hours to get 15 gallons. I was just curious, when you said it fills up quick I was concerned that there was something wrong with your RODI. I never heard anyone say that their RODI unit fills up quick.
