I did end up using MY RADAR as well as some other ones.
I can only imagine MY RADAR would look particularly nice on an iPad.

You could look at using a mifi; with it you can dump your landline for connects phone line with your same number. Downside to mifi are the data limits unless you're willing to spend for unlimited use.

Who's your cell service provider? Never heard of any discounts on Ipads. We have 3 in the family and if there was one my daughter would have found it. lol

You do get a $100 discount if you sign up your IPAD as part of your family plan at AT&T. I have 5 iphones and 2 ipads on my work plan. They still screw you because they give you $100 off per ipad for linking them in for 2 years but then they charge you a $40 activation fee. You can fight it but it is another step.
