whats the growth rate on Sailfin Tangs?

They grow quite quickly to 6+ inches. From juv to 6" in a yr to 1.5 yrs

They're supposed to grow very fast. If they grow slowly, something's very wrong. They aren't suitable for a 55g for any length of time other than just quarantine, or if you somehow managed to get a half-inch-long tang baby who needs to grow out.
If you get a half-inch-long baby, I demand pictures of the cute.

Zoinks, what are you feeding it? Mine went from about 3 to 5 inches in about a year, and then went and died on me for no apparent reason. Bummer!
