whats the life expectancy of a minthrax crap emerald crab

Mine just died today... I think. He might be molting but i doubt it.
My other one died in my nano cube about 2 mos ago too. No idea on cause of death. Both survived in my tanks for about 4 -6 months.

Life expectancy is about 2-3 years. I would keep an eye out for fluctuating water parameters, especially salinity and nightime pH. Inverts are much more sensitive to swings that fish can tolerate better.

Alternately, inadequate water changes can cause a lack of needed minerals for them to molt safety.

I usually use catalina water from jeffs, change about 10% 2x a month.

I'll keep an eye on the parameters tho,
