What's up with my clowns?

So I have a pair of midnight photon clownfish that I had since they where babies, out of nowhere the female is showing a lot of aggression tords the male. They use to share there Bta together now the female wont let the male near it. Anyone know what might be going on?

Dominance factor and maybe getting ready to go into 'heat' as they call it.

"It's mine" as my kids said when they were 2.
 
What makes you think ones the male. They are born unsexed and in time will work this out. It sounds like this might be happening. I have even heard of them switching sex's.

Because one is 3x the size of the other and more dominant. Ive owned enough clownfish over the years to know the difference :thumbsup:

I agree. In reality, all clownfish are males (or unsexed per say) - never females until they change sex once mated and paired up.
