When exactly does the sex change/sex assignment/thingy happen?

The reason why I'm asking is because my both juvenile snowflake clowns are doing that epileptic shaking thing.
With my previous pair only the male did this.
Is this because they going trough the motions of becoming male and female?

Yep sounds like both want to be the male lol. One of them will eat more and take over eventually here

Sex change varies, I don't think anyone can really nail down a timeline.

well i think one has definitely woman'ed up..
its totally chasing the other clown around the tank and the one being chased is doing the epileptic dance..
