Where the money for my new lights just went!

That thought has actually crossed my mind! :D I have a little 10gal. laying around, just be to much of a hassle having to go out to the camper every day and feed and do water changes. Plus the starting and stopping when driving and having the water sloshing out doesn't sound too appealing either.

Good lookin' Expedition! My wife drives a white 2000 Eddie Bauer with the 5.4 and we both love it. Plenty of power.

We don't have a camper, but enjoy camping. Last time we went, we were just a little east of Oskaloosa at Lake Keomah state park. Let me tell you...that was a beautiful campground, and we had simply perfect weather for it. If anyone else gets down that way, you'll definitely enjoy it. Awesome facilities, especially if you were to get a group of people together. Nice big kitchen, big dining area with huge fireplace, well kept, etc.

If you guys want a nice camping area with some trout fishing, and HILLS look into camping in Decorah, Iowa. Great scenery, chances to got tubing, canoe, camp, hunt, anything you would want. It is my home town so if you have any questions let me know.

Atticus ever been to a Mother Natures BAll? A friend of mine puts it on at Cimmney Rock near Decorah every year, basically its just weekend long camping party with live music.

ALot of fun!!!

I agree about Decorah. We go up there at least once a year. We slide down the "cut", go to the caves, and that waterfall springs. Last year we took our bikes and rode like 30 miles one day. I was beat! The best part is the whippy Dip! I think that is the hottest place to be on a Saturday night in Decorah :). If you can't catch any trout you can always go the hatchery and feed them. The kids love it.

I was going to call you and forgot. I got a sweet Tahoe in cheap. I hope you like it even if it is a Ford.

You should have called! I actually almost traded a guy for a 3/4 ton suburbun but he wouldn't come down on his price at all. When we got back from CR the day we bought the expedition there was a message on the machine and he was ready to work on his price then

Oh well I guess. The heavier suspension would have been nice especially if we ever get a bigger camper.

I'll have to check out some of those parks this summer! Man I'm ready to get out and use this thing! :D

ok nm my post i just read the rest of the thread and now i feel like an idiot.lol

i am also a chevy man but those expiditions are nice the wife and I were looking at one also, however i think were going to get a Tahoe instead

With 4 door pick up out why do people even consider larger suv my chevy truck gets 19 and 13 pulling my boat!!

Because my expedition will seat 8 people. :D And I can take the back seat out if I want and still haul as much as your truck. Anything that I don't want in the back I have a trailer I can haul it on.

And if your chevy truck gets 19 empty and 13 pulling your boat consider yourself lucky! You have one of the few. My dads 05 chevy barely gets 13 empty. When I pulled the camper home with it I bet I wasn't getting 5!

There are a lot of times I wish I had a truck. Like when I need to haul something (tanks) other than people. And it sucks to hunt in it. Everything you get you have to be careful with so it won't mess up the back. It is nice when you have to haul a lot of people...but that is very rarely. My next big rig will be a 4 door truck more than likely. Then I will be able to throw the bikes and fire wood right in the back of the truck versus messing up the camper and the back of the Suburban.

My pickup is only a crew cab and you can get at least 5 comfortably in it and through an extra in the front and you have 6 (may be a little tight though) and I bet my fiancee won't care if I through some stinky greasy, slimy gopher guts in the back. Caddyshack fans there you go. By the way is it ok to list items for sale on this you want to sell, like jet skis, and stuff

I'll give you a couple frags for a Jetski! :D

Their probably won't be any gopher guts in my expedition but their probably will be some deer guts this fall! :D Probably just put a tarp in the back.

If it was up to me I'd be driving a CrewCab Super Duty with the 7.3 diesel in it! But my wife wanted to be able to seat more people. You know you have to have room for 8 even though we only have 2 kids! It will be nice when we have the nieces and nephews though. Almost bought an excursion but those are pretty hard to come by.

Ok,

I have a 2000 Tahoe Z71, with heater leather, pushbar, step bars 108K miles. I want $11k, a blue tort frag, some acro, a nice zoo, and a fish.
