Where to buy Mrs.Wages ?

Those of you guys using Mrs.Wages Pickling Lime in your kalk reactors or top off vessels...where exactly are you buying it? I checked the Kent/Ravenna Wal-mart with no luck. I even asked them about it and got some strange looks and shrugged shoulders. Please help me out.

some walmarts have it but I think its seasonal.

I can get it at my walmart Keith they have a ton I can pick some up for you if you need me to !! let me know it is usually hit or miss and also seasonal at that they only stock it during canning season

also make sure you are in the correct section, there is an actual canning section in walmart... not in a very intuitive place at my walmart. I got crazy looks the first time i asked for it as well ;c)

I actually just got it hooked up today . No kalk yet, and i bought esv kalk, just want to see how it works for awhile with my osmo before I add the kalk, plus i am in the middle of a couple water changes, and then want to get alk/cal/mag where i want them before i start the kalk. so hopefully by the end of next week i will get the kalk in there.

plus I am getting a new skimmer sooooon wooohooo

edit -- been out of town 4 of the last 5 weeks, so tanks are behind on maint :/

Keith, the Walmarts in Chardon and Middlefield carry it from the spring through the fall. You'll find it by the mason jars and pickling stuff which is usually near the tupperware, etc. Last year, I had trouble finding it in the winter so I had to make sure to stock up.

Thanks for all of the input. I just picked up some Mrs.Wages at the Streetsboro Wal-Mart. (thanks Phil) You definately have to ask for the canning stuff. The canning items are on an endcap you can't see from the main aisles. They are now out.

lol. On a side note i added about half a cup kalk to my reactor, have a digi timer on the maxi jet to mix at 230am 7am 315pm and 1030pm wanted it stronger at night . seems to hold me ph around 8.23 up from 8.16... have to see where it is at in the morning. (usually high 7.8's). I am hoping it stays over 8.
