Does anyone have a good etailer they can recommend for purchasing Tridacnids? I have heard good stuffabout Clams Direct but there shipping and box fees are right at $50.00. That really jacks up the price of the purchase.

you will get a better clam at clams direct. You will get to see what you get. He is a good guy and will get you what you want i spoke to him today and they are getting a shipment some time the end of this week. check it out.

I have always heard good things about Clams Direct and after shopping around, his shipping prices are NOT the highest out there. I will wait until I see his new stock because he has no Maximas right now and none of the Croceas are what I am looking for.

Live aquaria has some aquacultured clams and clam packs fairly cheap and resonable shipping. Only problem is they are never in so your constantly checking back.

Miguel over on fragglereef.com often has little clam pack of 3 croceas or maximas or whatever. He's a great guy to deal with. Of course it isn't WYSIWYG.

FWIW, clamsdirect is tops in the business IMO, and $50 for shipping is at the low end.
