Reef @ LI Aquarium was not collapsing. There were palys in the tank & Joe was getting sick from them so the tank had to be redone.

Huh I remember watching many videos and recall him mentioning Palys , thought it was collapsing as well. Could be many reasons but if I was wrong I stand corrects. Bottom line he redid the whole reef.

Darn, not too much activity though I'm not surprised. I'm new ... live in Alamogordo. Was hoping for some good LFS info. I know there are shops in Las Cruces ... might check them out today.

Thats like my tank, I was tired of sponge taking over so I had to remove everything for a good cleaning.

Well, turns out there's a good LFS right here in Alamogordo. Which is good because the LFS's that I thought were in Las Cruces are actually in El Paso, which I tend to avoid like the plague. ;-)

I used to have a 55g FOWLR (well, with a bubbletip anemone) years ago, and am now getting back into the hobby ... just set up a little 13.5g Fluval Evo and waiting for it to finish cycling.
