White dots invasion

My tank (65g) is about 3.5 months old and growing most of the corals nicely.

However, in the last 10-15 days an enormous number of white dots have started appearing all over the glass, mostly on the backside, but on the other sides and front glass as well.



This picture doesn't really do justice, as to the naked eye the number of dots seem even bigger. Any idea what these are and if they're good or bad?

Parameters Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 2.5, Calcium 400, dKH 9, Magnesium 1410 - no phosphate test, temp 79.5-80.0.

Spirorbid worms would be my guess. (harmless filter feeder)

Is it normal to have them in such a number? Honestly I've never seen a tank this "infected".

It just depends on the conditions. My tank had quite a few when it was first set up. Now, not so many. Either way though, they're nothing to be too concerned about. Here's an article that discusses them a little bit more.

No, they don't seem to move at all.
