White dots on the glass?

Alright guys... Lets see if anyone has any clue what i'm seeing. I have these little white dots all over my glass, they are about the size of air bubbles, and they arent like any pods I've ever seen. I'd take a picture but the camera cant focus on them they're too small. Basically, they look like tiny starfish, but they arent. A small white dot and what looks like small tentacles/hairs. Are they baby something or other? They dont appear to move at all, and they didnt just fall away when I took the mag float to em.

That sounds like hydroid jellyfish. Google should bring up some pictures.

Yeah,I had an explosion when my tank was about three months old.I had literally thousands but they'll die out after there food source runs out.Perfectly safe.

had the same thing, believed hitch-hickers in sand or rock. my 6-line wrasse and coralbeauty devoured them in a matter of days. there were thousands that appeard in one morning. then they were eaten! REEF-ON!!!

I have dots also, but mine are actually really small feather dusters. May be what you have

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I found some pictures and they do look like the hydroid jellyfish, I'm not sure where they could have come from but its good to know that its nothing too detrimental to my tank.
