Who has the biggest montipora.

I'm sure it's not the biggest but this one is about 12x16 in.

Be careful letting that monti touch and kill those other corals. I let that go on and it killed a much larger tricolor colony. Both of those birdnests have die off where the monti has/is touching.

My monti grew onto those barespots and kept on going

The middle cap would barely fit in a 5 gallon bucket.

If I can find a picture, I had a friend who had a purple cap that took up 1/3 of a 180 gallon

I've been keeping an eye on it. The orange monti and pink bird have been intertwining for about 6 months. You can see a little algae growing where there is some die off. But, I like the look of the monti growing around the bird. Plus, the birdnest is a monster colony and the monti tends to keep it in check.

BUT, the monti was getting too close to my ORA Oregon Tort and I keep having to clip it back.

But, thanks for the warning, I'll keep an even closer eye on it.

oh come on now 57vert, you're showing off with that growth.

Damn, you know me too well.

Had to get in on this one, this red monti cap has completely gone nuts! It's even bigger now as this picture is like 6 months old.
