That's such a great coral. Absolutely love it. What kind of lighting do you have, how far is this coral from those lights and where do you keep your alk usually?

jsousa that tort is awesome love the color any of you guys ever want to get rid of those huge pieces let me know..again you guys have some of the nicest pieces I have ever seen truly dedicated to the hobby and it shows keep up the good work guys love to see them pics.

Jeez--who dug up this thread! I remember that Cap I had back on page two--that was before I shut down and took a break but now I'm back with a nanocube 28 and keeping primarily LPS but I love the sps.... I Remember all those names from 6 years ago...

anyone who has grown corals to this size... did you ever deal with STN in any of these colonies?

The guys with the monster size corals must be using calcium reacters and not dosing right? Will corals grow faster in a bigger tank? Nice monster sizes here. I have Green Monti Caps which grow super fast in my reef tank, I have to frag them often to prevent it getting too big. I would think the Montis about the quickest growing sps and can grow quite huge.

I got the the piece a year ago and it was 3/4 of that size. My guess is that it's at least 4 years old.

My tank is too young for a contribution, but man ... I would really like to see some others.
