Who likes the smell of acropora?

Perhaps I am a super weirdo and I would have to agree but I love the way acropora smell. Kind of like a new car smell.

Anyone agree?

Me, I happen to appreciate the smell of SPS but I don't touch them just because.
I always take a whiff every time I touch one even though I know the smell won't change.

If your fragging a nice piece of your own then its a good smell.
If your receiving new guys its a "I hope everyone is ok smell"
If its taking a RTN SPS out if the tank its a sad smell.

i have encountered 2 different kinds of SPS smells.

Those of Success….

and those of Failure…

the tank was a 240gal. (96x24x24)
i had a chemiclean malfunctions…. and lost every SPS and clam…..

I used to hate it, now I like it. I associate the smell of fresh acro with "new coral"

Also, does anyone else notice that MILK smells like acro?? Maybe that's how calcium smells...
