Do you run a sump? A small clip on fan will work very well to help keep your tank cool, but you will evaporate a lot more water than your currently replacing.

100 gallon, 400w se now and used to run 2 x250 de. both with 7" fan and 2 x 4" fans in the canopy, no chiller YET.

I run 3 250w SE bulbs over my 150 along with 3 T5's. Right next to it I have my prop tank with a 250w and 2x 24" T5's. All without a chiller... sort of ;)
I have a dorm room size fridge next to my tank. I teed off my return and have 1/2" vinyl tubing running into the fridge and coiled into a bucket of my top-off water, then returns to the sump. In addition the top-off water is cooled by the fridge and when the float switch is triggered cool water is delivered.

In addition to all this I runn multiple fans on timers and DIY thermostats. My tank this past summer never tipped 82 but I do evaporate 5 gallons per day.

So I guess my answer is still no. :p

I run a 400w de and 220w of pc w/ no chiller. I have two computer fans blowing into the tank and it stays about 80. The main problem though is the evaporation.

I have a 400w on my 90g 11" off the water. I use a big 12" fan on my sump. If the room gets 82+ degrees ya'll need a chiller. In the DIY section there is a post on using a water bong to cool the water. You'll evap more water. I'm close to 2 gallons a day.

52 gallon with 250 w MH, 4 actinics. Dual fan on light kit. The tank runs about 76 degrees, but I'm in the NW and it's not summer yet. I plan to get a clipon fan for the sump and try that first.
