Here's my latest attempt at creating that "open look". I planned it so the shelf rocks look like they are "floating", ie. minimal sand contact.

This is the front but none of the rock is resting on the backside It is mostly frags back there but my fish ride the currents then do laps I know it looks stuffed but lots of room in the back

just read your thread---great looking tank. This is one tank where the blue light doesn't do it justice--it doesn't show off all of the colours like on the thread:smokin:

The only supplements I add are REEF plus concentrated vitamin & amino acid to the water and when I feed my fish I soak selcon and Vita-Chem in the food.
