What kind of battery backup are you using? I have the Vortech one but that wont run my Apex

I have a marine battery, a trickle charger, and a pretty big power inverter. Only problem is that I bought them in case of emergency but have no idea how to hook them up.

Remember Wilma. They said is would be a Cat. 1. I was without power for one week. Now I have a large generator that will hook up to my house. Better safe that sorry.

Just got back from a 2 week vacation and did a water change lol. Got a generator ready to go if power outage. It will power the house, but if it came down to a choice between a/c, refrigerator, lights for the house or my tanks.....hmmm, our ancestors did just fine without those comforts:) the tanks will always get the power

I just got my generator out of the dust, tuned it up with a new spark, and ran it some with fresh gas. I still would like to buy an inverter for my truck. Anyone know of any good deals now?
