I'll keep an eye out. I'm assuming it'll be fairly obvious if he has an infection, I'll notice it.
That'll make 5 tanks up and running total. I might have a problem.
Just keep him fed with good nutritional food. And remember that keeping him fed doesn't mean overfeeding and stuffing him to death while polluting your tank.
It's not a good rule, but I like the idea that if the fish is eating, it's generally healthy, and can recover from injury and some pests. If they are not eating, that's when you're in trouble. I like New Life Spectrum TherA+ food for it's nutritional content and garlic, which I believe garlic helps activate fish appetite, and is also nutritionally helpful for fishes.
Yes I know this is another interesting argument in the hobby, whether garlic in food is good or not, but any of the big $$ and rare fish collectors I know added garlic to their foods, usually in the raw form and blending and mixing it into their frozen mixes. Sorry for the derail, but just some useful advice I hope.
nice clowns. Still waiting on my guy to find me a bonded pair of black ice clowns and I will trade in my single clown...
How do you like your Kessil? I'm torn between the Kessil and a Radion when I remove my top.
That was the debate I had too. I love the light. Surprisingly, I have little light bleed and I love how programmable it is, especially with the apex. I'm thinking about getting another one, or maybe the a160 to help with a little bit o shadowing I have (my rock work is fairly large). Part of me wants to get the ap700, but I know that would be overkill.
Now it's if I want the shimmer with kessil or the coral growth and less shadowing with radios. Thanks for the input!
