Downloaded that app you use, love it already, especially seeing as I was having some water issues recently. Not sure what else it does other then store all my water tests, but thats good enough for me currently lol

Play around with it a bit. You can also set reminders, take notes, keep a log off all equipment/livestock you have (including pictures, price, where you bought it/how much etc). And then of course if you have multiple tanks, you can use it to keep track of those. It really is a useful app and definitely worth the $10.
 
The tank is going through what I think is a bacterial bloom. Not a whole lot I can do about, besides waiting for it to subside. Only other major issue is my low pH problem. The other night/morning it dipped to 7.73. I've been trying to aerate the house as much as possible, although it's hard due to the really cold and rainy weather lately. I have kalk on hand, but I don't think I have an alk issue so I don't want to raise it.
 
Here is an updated tank shot. I need some suggestions for corals that like higher light and higher flow. All the ones I have are happy being on the sand bed.

You can move those up if you want, just move them slowly. My hammers, frogspawn, and torch are all high up in my tank, but it took me several weeks to slowly move them up and get acclimated to the increased light.
 
Everyone is back in the DT, happy, healthy and eating! I haven't bought anything new in quite awhile, and as hard as it is to always leave the store empty handed, I kinda want everything to settle in before any new additions.

With that said, I definitely want another fish. I've been thinking about a helfrichi firefish, or maybe just an exquisite firefish. I also started looking into a chalk bass. I feel like 5 fish would be too much so I'm going to take my time in deciding which one I want to add.
 
I have 6 in my cube, all happy healthy and fat! Of course they are being rehomed shortly in my new 80G, but all these fish have been in my cube for about a year.

Flame angel, electric neon dottyback, pair of clowns, citron clown goby, and a warpaint goby.

I'm filling your 80 build as well. Looks good! And I think that if I keep up on maintenance, I'd be able to keep 5 fish (2 clowns, goby, helfrichi firefish and chalk bass). Shouldn't really be any issues, right?
 
I don't see any issue with those fish, all relatively small and communal. My only concern would be the firefish and the chalkbass, I know basslets have issues with fish of the same body shape, but I believe the chalk bass is more docile then the rest of the family. If it were me, I would add the chalk bass last.

Here is a quick updated FTS. Don't mind the sand, that's still a work in progress and the koralia pump might be temporary or I may even add a second one. Everything seems to be doing well and I'm getting into the phase of the hobby where I want to fine tune things, like getting phosphates in check and maybe setting up my fuge basket.
 
You need to be leary with the torch in close proximity to the other LPS. Hammers and frogspawn can be next to one another just fine but a torch does not get along with those two typically. And while it is pretty cool to watch coral warfare the damage done stinks to look at for weeks.

I almost lost one of my hammers to my open brain that decided it was too close...

Yeah I know I should move it. It's still a couple inches away, but with a bit more growth, they'll be touching. I'm just trying to figure out where to move it to.
 
So a little update: a LFS near me is closing down and had a 50% off everything in the store. This morning it was insane; literally 50 people packed into this tiny little store with 2 employees. However, I walked out with a 2 headed torch and 8 frags. I no longer have any room in my tank and am just going to focus on growing things out. The only other addition I want to make will be a clam (which won't be for another 3 to 4 months) and one or 2 more fish.

I also started dosing kalk to my ATO and seems to be doing a good job so far. I've been keeping on top of my weekly water changes (sometimes do a smaller one twice a week) although I should test more.

Also trying to decide if I want to run chaeto or GFO; darn you space constraints.

Everything is doing pretty well, just waiting for both of my shrimp to give birth again!

Corals look great. Space is always tough in cubes. It'll be exciting to see them all grow out though and fill in naturally.
 
While everything looks great(except for the diatoms on the sand, just increase some flow down there and they should go away), I would have to agree with soul on the torch.

I thought my torch was safe from my other corals, but my duncan would disagree. It's missing 4 heads, and 3 other heads are half gone. The torch decided one day to reach out and say hello, and hasn't stopped since it found the duncan!

Yeah I'm due for a water change tomorrow (I always vacuum the sand). I did move the torch over so there's quite a bit more space. Once I get a few more corals off the sand and onto the rock, I can move it some more.
